This run down farm shed needed a new lease on life.
Using Steel and Tubes corrugate profile, Custom Orb, we were able to completely transformed it into a modern farm shed and breathe life back into it for years to come.
Scope of job
This one was a little different to our standard re-roofs or wall cladding jobs.
We had to completely strip this shed back to the metal portals, install new timber framing for our wall cladding. Then re-roof and re-clad this shed.
New Roof
Once the old roof was stripped off we were able to get to work install a brand new corrugated roof using Steel and Tubes Custom Orb profile in COLORSTEEL NZ's Maxam product.
The tear down
After the roof was complete we got to work stripping the walls ready for fresh new wood and wall cladding.
New Framing
With the help from this farmer welding some brackets to the steel framing, we were able to bolt new wooden beams across the sides of the shed for our Custom Orb wall cladding to be screws onto.
With the new framing on you can start to see this farm shed take on a new life.
The Permanent Green colour option was at home in this beautiful farm setting in the Waikato.
What a Transformation!
Another massive job knocked out by the team.
this shed looks brand new compared to where it started. The Permanent Green Custom Orb roof and walls supplied by Steel and Tube have completely transformed this shed into somewhere the farmer will be able use to store his trackers.
With the 50 year warranty offered with the COLORSTEEL NZ MAXAM product this shed will be standing for decades to come.
