How do I know if my roof needs replacing or can be repaired?
With our roof assessments we can report on your roofs age, condition and if there is any damage. Giving you solid feed back on your roofs health to weather it is repairable or time for a replacement
How often should I check my roof?
We recommend checking your roof once a year or if you have experienced any harsh or severe weather conditions.
How much does a roof cost?
Whether a new roof or re-roof the costs can vary quite a lot depending on your homes size and shape. Best bet is to contact us, and we can have a look.
Roofing materials & options
What materials do you use when replacing roofs?
We have a range of options for roof replacements.
Depending on your current roof we can use Long run COLORSTEEL NZ, COLORCOTE or, if you have a Metal Tile roof and would like to keep that look we can use GERARD metal tiles.
Can I change my metal tile roof to long run?
Yes!
We can remove your Metal Tile roof, install new purlins needed for a long run roof and change to one of our Long run options.
Are metal tile roofs expensive to replace?
Not always.
With GERARDS new Concealed Fix tile, we can cover your existing Metal Tile roof if you are wanting a cheaper option with all the benefits of a new roof.
This option is RANZ approved and still has its product and workmanship warranties.
Are your products made in New Zealand?
Yes,
We have partnered with NZCOLORSTEEL, COLORCOTE and GERARD tile to offer only New Zealand made roofing and wall cladding products that are made to withstand New Zealand weather conditions.
Do you replace the flashings?
Yes!
All flashing’s are replaced when we are installing your Re-roof, in some situations we may need help from one of our builders depending on the cladding used on your house. We will talk you through the different options we offer for these situations before any other trades are called in.
Gutters & cladding
Can you install wall cladding?
100%
We are Qualified and skilled with wall cladding. If you are wanting this on your new build, get in touch to see our packages for roofing and wall cladding.
Can you replace my gutters when reroofing?
We offer gutter replacement alongside our reroofing.
Do you do gutter replacements only?
We can organise gutter replacement for you. Our network of highly skilled contractors are specialised in their trades offering you a high-quality finish every time.
Installation & timing
How long does a reroof take?
We recommend expecting 3-5 days for your reroof to be completed, sometimes it may be faster but with expecting up to 5 days this allows for any bad weather we may face.
Do I need to move out while my roof is replaced?
While we recommend pets and children stay inside or leave the house during the days we are working for safety, you do not need to move out while your roof is being replaced.
We make sure the site is safe and secure so you can return home at the end of everyday.
What happens if it rains during the re-roofing job?
We prioritise keeping your roof weather tight!
At the end of everyday we make sure your roof is watertight just in case there are any surprise showers overnight.
If the forecast shows for rain that day, we will not remove any roof, waiting until we have clear weather to continue.

Do I get a warranty with your roofing services?
Absolutely!
Depending on the product chosen we offer up to a 50-year product warranty with a 10-year workmanship guarantee.
Does Riggall Roofing have insurances?

We have all insurances needed to cover any damages while your roof is being installed.
